The members include 1 architect, 1 real estate agent, the Borough Zoning Officer, and 4 residents. Each member serves a 3-year term, with January appointments running through the end of the year. The Board meets to hear petitions and render decisions on appeals, variances, and special exceptions that arise from the administration of the Borough's Historical District Ordinance. |

The Planning Commission was established to exercise the roles and fulfill the responsibilities of a planning agency as spelled out in Article II of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. |
